Hi, I’m Kristian! It is my mission to serve and connect millions of people in this lifetime. I’ve learned this is accomplished one heart at a time. That is the intention in every presentation I give and in everything I create: to reach out and impact the heart that is at the core of everyone; to share the drive and willpower to rise above life’s challenges; to break down the walls of division and build up the bridges of connection, kindness, cooperation, and unity. That is what Rise To Unite was created for.

This vision was roused in my heart during the first solo adventure I took fresh out of school. I booked a ticket all the way from Ontario, Canada, to the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India. I stayed at a yoga school and received formal Hatha Yoga training. During my studies and practice, I met so many unique people. I thought to myself: wouldn’t it be interesting to sit down for interviews with people from all over the world and document their perspectives on the deeper meanings of life? The seed was planted. Upon my return home, I established a weekly practice teaching mindfulness techniques and mentalities to students from grades 1–8. I also conducted my first keynote presentations.

Fast forward a few years: I set out on the biggest adventure of my life so far—a circumnavigation of the planet through all seven continents. The goal was to interview as many people as I could, uncovering the fundamentals of human connection, cooperation, and resilience. What do we humans, from all walks of life all over the globe, have in common that has the power to connect us? I had the privilege of sitting down for over 100 such conversations.

I climbed 6,000+ meter mountains, slept among lions in the great Serengeti, walked among the ancient trees and unmatched diversity of the Amazon Rainforest, and explored the untouched edges of the world in Antarctica. These are just a few of the many adventures I now share in the presentations I deliver.

Infused with powerful messages of kindness, inclusivity, willpower, resilience, and striving for one's greatest potential in this beautiful life, I connect with my audience through sharing real, relatable stories that connect with people one heart at a time. That is the most consistent thing I’ve observed along this grand adventure: the similarities of the human heart. No matter our differences—where we are born, what religion we may follow, our ethnic roots, who we love, our political perspectives, our socioeconomic class, or our culture—the human heart beats all the same.

This universal rhythm of life brings us all together. It brings out the humanity in us. I now have a much better understanding of why we are all, first and foremost, members of the human race before anything else. We strive for connection, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. We naturally want to share compassion, connect deeper, and work together to build great things. We want to support our families and the ones we love, and we want to experience this life together. We are a deeply interconnected species, and I am here to bring more of this connection to the world.
